A Bit About Me
I've always enjoyed theater productions, dance, and sewing. I've been immersed in sewing and art from a young age, creating projects with my mother and taking many classes.
After many years of dancing and wearing various costume styles, I became interested in costuming. I used my sewing and crafting skills to create costumes for my high school's theater productions.

Special Projects
While participating in the Sewing Club in high school, I learned about the need for small, soft gowns for babies in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). I felt this project would be a perfect fit for my Girl Scout Gold Award.

After researching the average size of babies in NICUs and learning more about the specific needs of the gowns to be able to keep babies warm, provide easy access to monitor wires, and be made of materials compatible with a variety of imaging units, I developed a pattern, instructions, and an instructional video.

After planning my project, the COVID pandemic began and I was able to alter my project a bit by creating to-go kits for others to help create gowns at their own houses.

I managed many people, located in multiple states to create and deliver over 300 gowns to the NICU at St. Luke's Anderson Campus in Easton, PA.
